Transnational Meeting - Istanbul

On 24-26 January 2023, the 2nd face-to-face meeting of the ARSTSEAMapp project was hosted by Arnavutköy Korkmaz Yiğit High School in Istanbul, Turkey. Information was given about the work carried out so far in the project and future work. In this Erasmus project, which aims to apply Augmented Reality to European Cultural Heritage, many buildings such as Topkapı Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Süleymaniye Mosque, New Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, Turkish-Islamic Arts and Ethnography Museum, Galata Tower, Galata Mevlevihanesi Museum, which are among the most important buildings of Istanbul in terms of cultural heritage, were also examined. Within the scope of the project, it is planned to apply augmented reality on Hagia Sophia Mosque, Topkapı Palace, Galata Tower and Basilica Cistern.
