11th February International Day of Women and Girls in Science

The ARSTEAMapp Project, which aims to promote gender equality in education, emphasises girls' education. It aims to direct girls to technology and science by combining technology and art in education.

In 2015, the United Nations declared 11 February as the 'International Day of Women and Girls in Science' to promote the participation of women and girls in education and research activities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). ARSTEAMapp Project was also a part of " The 11 th February International Day of Women and Girls in Science" held at Anatolia College-Thessaloniki- Greece. While introducing their projects to the female students, they were also informed about ARSTEAMapp.
